African Trade Portal (ATP), based in Douala, Cameroon, is a versatile proprietorship firm specializing in the retailing, wholesaling, and export of premium West African timber. We offer a wide range of top wood species, including Teak, Sapele (Mahogany), Okan, Padauk, Ebony, and Movingui. In addition to our timber products, ATP sources high-quality gold from Cameroon’s gold-rich regions, including the Adamawa, East, and South Regions. We also supply dried Cameroon food products to international buyers, providing a comprehensive range of offerings to meet the diverse needs of our global clientele with excellence.

On the 24th of July 1990 African Trade Portal Group (ATP) was officially born. It is involved in logging, wood processing, Gold sourcing and trading. It started with 17 forestry employees under the itinerant management of one woman, Ngum Flora. The company acquires forests as a subcontractor, which enables it to produce 3,500 m3 of wood per month in the first year. It obtained its first sale of cut in 1991. That year, its turnover reached 120 million CFA francs by selling its production exclusively to the local market.

Today, African Trade Portal has 120+ skilled employees in its ranks, divided between the 7 farms it owns in the North and South Cameroon regions (7 in its own right, 2 in partnership), the Ebolowa industrial sawmill and the Management, located in Douala. In 2017, the “African Trade Portal” produced 220,000 m3 of logs. Its turnover exceeds 12 billion CFA francs.
